The Two (Not One) Gog/Magog Wars Recognized At Last

In the intriguing Ezekiel 38 & 39 Gog/Magog war prophecies, God has hidden his meaning similar to how Jesus hid his with his parables (Mk 4:10-11). Since these two neighboring chapters are so similar, the consensus is that they are the same prophecy predicting a single attack on Israel by the same "Gog." Under that mistaken assumption most try to identify Gog/Magog, often using current events as their guide, with ever evolving results.
